New Steps to Martz Sink
Madison Blue Spring State Park
Tireless volunteers have put in many hours, first working to clear the fallen trees (thanks to Hurricane Hermine this summer) and then remove the old steps on the very steep hillside leading down to Martz Sink in Madison Blue Springs State Park. Then came the task of building a complex set of steps, platforms, benches and railings. The project was completed over the weekend of December 10th and the steps have received approval for use! A HUGE thank you goes out to those who DONATED to make this project possible and to those hardy souls who came out weekend after weekend to get the job done!
